Angel signs and leylines in Bury St. Edmunds

How lovely to be on holiday in the UK again. It has been a few years since we had a summer holiday here and how lucky we are to have such splendid weather.

We spent our first day in Bury St. Edmunds, a lovely historic town in which the St. Michael and Mary leylines cross.

We arrived early in the morning as we had travelled by night ferry from Hoek van Holland to Harwich. As an angel person I thought it was great fun to park the car on Angel Hill car park. We were staying in the Angel hotel, how cool is that? And our room overlooked Angel Lane. Around the corner was a little shop to buy cards and newspapers called Angel News. It certainly made me grin form ear to ear.

We started the day by visiting the Abbey gardens wit hits beautiful roses wafting their wonderful fragnance in the air. The ruins of the Abbey held a special appeal and I found an angel feather during our walk there. We then visited the church of St. Edmunds, where I photographed a beautifully carved wooden angel. St Mary’s church was next. You could have a competition to see who can spot the most angels. The nave has a magnificent hammer-beam roof. Eleven pairs of angels (a great angel number), attended by lesser angels on the wall plates form a procession of worship. Not to mention all the different angels portrayed on the stain glass windows. On the windows behind the altar you find the four great Archangels: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel. I loved it!

At night, after a lovely diner, we went in search of the energy of the leylines. I have always found it easier to tune into these energies when the surroundings are more quiet and peaceful. I was not disappointed! The leylines of Michael & Mary form a near straight line from St. Michaels Mount in Cornwall to Bury. On the line are wonderful sacred sites, such as the well known Glastonbury Tor and Avebury. Other interesting sacred sites are The Hurlers and Brentor to name a few. And it lands in the Netherlands where the Michael line can be felt at the Mary Chapel in Keins, Schagen. Many churches built on the lines have been dedicated to Michael and Maria. In Bury St Edmunds the Mary Line moves through Abbeygate St & Abbeygate. The Michael Line runs through Churchgate Street, and then moves through the Norman Arch to finally intersect with the Mary Line at the crypt of the abbey.

We took a walk to the Norman Arch and from there walked towards the abbey ruins. I felt naturally drawn to a certain section of it, which turned out to be the crypt I had been looking for. I sat down to meditate and connect to the energies of the ley lines. Soon personal information regarding my spiritual path came in. I felt a joilt of energy move up my leg and was asked to send this energy to those in need.

Light work and can be that easy…grounding well, opening your heart with a pure intention to receive for the good of self and all and then simply open up, after which you share the beautiful energies you receive with others. You can try it yourself!

Venus Transit and Mary Magdalene

What a special day, this was: 06/06/12 with the Venus transit.

I wrote about the transit earlier in my angel newsletter. Venus would move in fornt of the sun, bringing to the Earth her beautiful qualities. Whilst I would be in the South of France these couple of weeks, I knew that Lightworkers everywhere on earth would be meditating on this cosmic moment that helps us to honour the Divine feminine aspects of ourselves and unite them with the Divine Masculine parts.

How lucky just to be close to Rennes-le-Chateau. A perfect place to attune to Venus’ energies. Rennes-le-Château is a small town in France in the Pyrenees, Languedoc-Roussillon, Aude, between Carcassonne and Andorra. In 1885, Rennes-le-Château was a small provincial town. That year Bérenger Saunière was appointed priest of the village. He started a modest renovation of the church. Rumour has it that Sauniere found something that brought in large sums of money which he used for to fund a much larger renovation. The question remains what Sauniere found. There are now thousands of people around the world in search of this secret. Especially since it would appear that it has to do with the underground tradition around the doctrine of the Cathars and the worship of the Feminine and the specific role of Mary Magdalene. The church itself holds hidden symbols indicative of this role. Furthermore, information underscoring her role has said to have been found in the parchments Saunier discovered. According to the book The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail Saunière found evidence that Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus Christ, and had children with him. she is said to have traveld to France with their children.

It seemed a good day to visit Rennes-le-Chateau and meditate in Venus transit. I woke up early and I hoped to be able to see Venus dancing in front of the sun, but it was too cloudy so I went back in my bed. During the morning we left for Rennes-le-Chateau. The sun had come out and I enjoyed the scenery.  Nature around us reminded me of the beauty of Mother Earth. Vast vineyards were interspersed with wild flowers. There were rocky slopes with forests. A breath of fresh air compared to our rather over-populated country. The road to Rennes-le-Chateau had a few hairpins. I never like being on hairpin roads much, but my hubby had a great time traversing them.

Arriving at Rennes-le-Chateau, we first visited the museum about the supposed treasure and Sauniere. We enjoyed the open views and when the belltower announced it was noon, I felt it was time to go to the church dedicated to Mary Magdalen.

The atmosphere in the church was very special. It was like stepping into a warm bath. As receiving a warm and loving embrace. It literally felt very warm. All the holy statues are lovely and the dome behind the altar is painted a beautiful blue with stars.

The church exuded a very strong angelic energy, and I felt many angels were present. I sat quietly in a church bench and sank into a light meditation, occasionally interrupted by other visitors. Soon the energy of Mary Magdalene was present as I received a channeling and guided meditation.

When I closed my eyes I saw a circle with a dot in it. I was asked to do the infinity breath through the center of my heart. Breathing in I was to bring down a loop into Cosmos, breathing out into the Earth. Then I was to do the infinity breath horizontally from the front of my heart to the back. The vertical movement focused on Light and the horizontal one on Love.

I sat for a while breathing the Light and Love through me and around me. In the channeling I was blessed with the Love of the Mother, the Light of the Father and finally with Love of Self. I was once more welcomed into The Sisterhood of Light, as has happened before in Glastonbury.

I was told that the balance between the Divine Masculine and Feminine was torn apart in Atlantean times when the energy of this continent sank and most people started to listen to the negative ego instead of the Higher Self. We are invited to meditate and pray to restore these Divine energies at this time. There is much work to be done. We have free will and we need to make our own contribution. It does not matter how we do this, as long as it comes from pure intention (Light) and a pure, heartfelt awareness (Love). With this, we give the angels and ascended masters permission to do the work on our behalf.

We must realize that we have the masculine and feminine within us. The light and love are here to guide us in our lives. How beautiful!

After the silence and meditation in the lovely church of Magdalena, we drove to the Cathar Castle of Arques. And while I was waiting for the door to be opened, I looked up. There was a beautiful halo around the sun. There it was again: the dot with the circle. I made a picture of it. When  downloading it on our laptop, I saw two birds within the circle. A beautiful reminder of the twin aspect of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine: two separate parts which still form a unity.

Archangel Michael (Orb) in Volterra

We are on holiday in Tuscany at the moment. It is a beautiful area, with its rolling hills, vineyards and many cultural and historical treasures. Today we were to go to the City of Volterra.  

I awoke from a very busy dream. I dreamt of holding a healing evening and there were so many people there, payment became an administrative chaos and I remember thinking I should do theme nights instead of trying to heal so many individuals at once. Now I do have a spiritual/creative business but do not do healing evenings at the moment and have even been wondering about which direction to go with my business as I still have a paid job and the business is much more about Lightwork and helping people than about earning money. 

After waking up I checked my email and there was an e-newsletter by Mikael and Amethyst, two people who do spiritual work and the message was for Lightworkers to stop making excuses and get off their buts to do their true lifé’s work:

“If you are here to change the world we want you right now to stop making excuses, get off your buts, and do it!! Inspired ACTION is what We’re calling forth!! INVESTMENT in accessing all the HELP YOU NEED is what We’re calling forth!! DETERMINED, SPIRIT GUIDED Decisions-in-Trust are what we’re calling forth.

Let me share with you, dear hearts. You do NOT make a difference sitting on your BUTS. You do NOT create a business and serve the people you are here to serve by staying behind your computer screen in your comfy pjs just dreaming about it.”

I was a bit unsettled after that wondering as to what the dream and newsletter were meant to tell me. Even though I did not feel too well, we went off on our day trip anyway to the city of Volterra. We were going there to visit the Etruscan Museum, but as we were walking through the old City I spotted a little church dedicated to San Michele (Archangel Michael). Most of the churches and cathedrals here are much bigger, but as Archangel Michael is my favorite angel and I have worked with him a lot I really wanted to enter the church.

Upon entering there were some people there and I felt very emotional. As I sat in front of the altar I felt Michael was close. My husband who is an indigo, but does not go around chasing spiritual experiences, felt the energies were a bit too much for him and left the church. As he did everybody in the church left and I was there alone with the presence of Michael. I was very warm! And felt some encouraging thoughts being sent to me. Archangel Michael reminded me of being a Light Worker and gave me a renewed choice about that. As always I told him I truly want to be a Light Worker and serve the higher good. He told me not to worry about which way to go about it, especially with my business. All I need to do is check in with him daily and we will take it one step at a time. I do not need to know where I am heading as my mind (uhm ego) would just get in the way. What a wonderful bit of guidance!

As you may know the angels are there for each and every one of us. And they will let their presence be known in many different ways. I would say there are as many ways as there are people. They may work through signs such as angel numbers, sending white feathers, sending coins, or other coincidences but they may also come through our different spiritual senses. Doreen Virtue describes four of them: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance. If you want to know your primary clair, you can do a little test on one of her blogs.  

For me this encounter with Michael covered almost all the clairs. The thoughts in my head were definetely claircognizance (my most used clair), but the feelings upon entering the church and the feelings of warm rushes of energy coming in were a form of clairsentience. And although I am not much of a clairvoyant type, my camera seems to be…

As I was about to leave the church I dedicated a candle to Michael and took a picture of the church and lo and behold! A beautiful blue orb appeared on my camera! It looks a bit like a shield.

What an extraordinary gift from the great archangel!

When we returned in our holiday appartment I decided to pick one of the Archangel Michael cards of Doreen Virtue. I usually do not take oracle cards with me on holiday but had packed this as an after thought.

It said: Go forward fearlessly. And part of the desciption of the card was the same as Michaels encouraging message to me earlier today! A lovely confirmation I am on the right path.

Angel Spotting in Strasbourg

Our summer holiday has begun! We traveled through four countries on friday: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. We made a stop for the night in Strasbourg. A beautiful city! And although we only arrived around diner time we were still able to do a little bit of angel hunting as the Cathedral was still open. 

Just like last year when we visited the Cathedral of Chartres I got orbs on my photo’s whereas Niels did not get any when making the same picture. In that sense the orbs seem as michievous as fairies.

 The entrance of the cathedral is a beautiful gate, protected by angels.

Within the church a pillar was dedicated to the angels called Pilier des Anges and funnily enough there was a restaurant outside carrying the same name. It is always so much fun to find angels and their signs all over the place. There was this sweet little shop with an angel logo and sign. 

After the relacing night in Strasbourg with some angel hunting and pizza (an excellent combination if I may so myself) we crossed four more countries the next day: France, Germany, Switserland and finally Italy. In Switserland we came by the Engelenberg (angel mountain) and Engelenbergertal (angel mountain valley). And as usual on long journeys there were lots of number plates carrying angel numbers and master numbers, mostly 44, 444, 55, 555, 77 and 777.

According to Doreen Virtues book Angel Numbers angels communicate to us through repeated sequences of numbers. The following are examples of their meanings:

444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear—all is well.

555 — Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being “positive” or “negative” since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continuing seeing and feeling yourself to be at peace.

777 — The angels applaud you… “congratulations, you’re on a roll! Keep up the good work and know your wish is coming true.” This is an extremely positive sign and you should also expect more miracles to occur.

We will see what that will mean for our holiday here in lovely Italy!

Spirit guide hero Grandpa Gordon: The Angelic Signalman

Quite a while ago I was contacted through my youtube by a lovely lady from Canada. As we got to know each other she understood I lived in the Netherlands and and she told me that is where her grandfather had lost his life in the Second World War. She also told me he was buried in Bergenop Zoom.

I have made her a personalized angel sculpture- A Healing Heart Angel– and in the process we have become true soul friends. We both have the feeling her Grandpa Gordon had a hand in it. And why not? If you are in the spirit world why not help your relatives and loved ones where you can?!

Then some time ago I was asked to come to an angel day in…Bergen op Zoom to sell my angel art. I was amazed by the coincidence. I would usually not have gone such a way as it is a bit of a drive. But the place just rang a bell (being that Grandpa Gordon was a signalman I can just guess who rang that bell).

And so yesterday I left for Bergen op Zoom as the angel event would be today and I did not want to have to travel back and forth on one day. So…there was some time to visit the grave of my dear friend’s grandfather. Now I had not checked any address and the map we got in the hotel did not have any war cemetery on it. So there we were in the car, wondering what to do. When I looked outside there was a small fluffy feather: an angel sign!

So I took it and decided to use my cell phone, which has internet capacity (though difficult to use). We found the address and drove there. As I walked up to the cemetery I said: Hello Grandpa Gordon” and right after that the sun came through the clouds and remained vibrantly shining during our visit. Someone sure seemed happy to see us;-)

It was a peaceful place and well kept. I felt it truly honoured those earthly angels, who gave their precious lives for our country’s freedom. My friend’s granddad left this earth in the year ’44 and at the age 44. 44 is an important angel number signifying many angels are with you now. So I do feel this special and brave spirit has connected me and his granddaughter through our love for angels!!

Angel Signs around the Worcester Area

Niels and I have travelled to England once more. It always feels like my soul comes home here. Though we have come to the UK for an autumn holiday, we chose the area around Worcester so I can follow a weekend workshop here to learn Angelic Reiki!

I have felt the soul call to do so for over a year, but felt held back by some health problems. In the end the soul calling got stronger and the health problems got weaker and so I decided to go though with it, book the workshop, find a cottage and go.

As the workshop was coming closer, my mind started babbling and fretting once more. What if I would not be able to do the entire weekend? What if my body got sick? What if.

Knowing the Law of Attraction I was well aware this was not the best course of action where the thinking mind is concerned. And so I asked the angels for some signs to help me have confidence.

Well did they deliver!

Upon driving through a little town close to Defford called Pershore we saw a hotel called The Angel Hotel and the Angel Inn.

Closer to Defford I looked out of the car window and saw a beautiful angel statue in a graveyard. Next we reached our destination, The Coach House Barn in Defford; a lovely self catering cottage that used to be an old coach house and has been done up excellentely with exposed beams and character 

 

whilst also giving you all the modern amenities you want. During our tour through the property up the stairs three lovely angel pictures stared me in the face.

And if that was not enough I saw angel cake in the supermarket (we don’t have that in the Netherlands) and on a rainy trip to Worcester we saw a sign with “angel place market“, a huge angel statue outside of and lots of angels in the Cathedral.   

 

 

 

 

We all have angels with us. Every day! For those of you that would love to receive angel signs, angels have many ways of communicating with us. They may send us hunches. You may receive these through thoughts, feelings, visions and words. You may receive answers to your questions through other people, books falling of shelves.

Typical angel signs include finding white feathers or shining coins. These both can indicate the angels are near. Also you may want to pay attention to angel numbers. Angels love sending repeated numbers, such as on number plates, clocks, telephone numbers and such. Doreen Virtue has written a lovely book containing the meaning of different sorts of numbers. I saw many double numbers on licence plates coming to Defford, such as plates with 44, 77, 22 etc.

Open up to the angels. If you feel it may be mere coincidence, you can ask the angels for clear confirmation of the sign you got. They will lovingly oblige.
